Businessman (Dr. Who's Time Tales)
An American businessman once travelled on business to a country in the Balkans that was infamous for its "black magic and strange legends".
Though an absolute sceptic, he decided to visit a small curiosity shop to kill some time. He tried to buy Merlin's Diary, only for the owner, in actuality Merlin himself, to say that it was not for sale, had been left out by mistake, and should not be opened under any circumstances. Ignoring the old man's warnings, the businessman opened the book and found himself transported back in time to the Middle Ages, where he met Merlin in his "prime". Recognising him as a man out of his time, the past Merlin sent him back to his own era, but also cast a spell to turn his hair white so that he would be unable to dismiss his experience with the supernatural as some kind of dream.
