Clun was a thirty-five-year-old old Sontaran who was present at the carpet bombing of Samur, and was sent among Field-Major Thurr's group. He warned the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa about the Witch Guard's curse. (AUDIO: Heroes of Sontar)

Clun was seen as senile by many. But he showed more sensibility and mental stability than the rest of Murr's group. He also showed more respect and decency such as apologising for startling the Doctor by appearing behind him.
