David Warblington

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

David Warblington was the Duke of Chilgrove during the 19th century.

According to the First Doctor, David's father was one of the best financial brains of the British Empire. However, David was lazy and cared little for his responsibilities as a duke.

The Doctor, David's guardian, visited him in the hope of inspiring him to improve himself. Instead, David burnt down Warblington Place, the family home in Richmond, because he was too lazy to make sure his cigar was completely snuffed out.

He married Joy St Peter, an American, and moved to Oklahoma. (PROSE: The Duke's Folly)
