Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | Dead is Dead was a campaign begun by Ellis Hartley Monroe while the Earth was under the effect of the Miracle in 2011. The campaign was meant to persuade others that any Miracle-affected humans who had suffered an injury or medical condition such as they would have previously been considered dead, and be treated as such - having their possessions and any living rights revoked, and being isolated from the healthy living in containment facilities. Ostensibly, this was being used to combat the overpopulation and strain on the medical industry that the Miracle had brought about; however, it was said that Monroe, described as a small-town mayor connected to the Tea Party political movement, was using the Dead is Dead campaign to make a name for herself.
