Duke was a member of Lundvik's mission to figure out why Earth's Moon had become unstable.
He taught Lundvik how to fly. He had just had his first grandchild, Elina. When the team was exploring an old Mexican moonbase, he was killed by a giant spider that was, in fact, a type of bacteria on the lunar surface. (TV: Kill the Moon)
