Edinburgh High Street

Edinburgh had a high street.

The Twelfth Doctor, Bill Potts and Nardole visited Edinburgh High Street in 1645 and found it deserted of all except for the Baileys of the Muir. At this time, the Heart of Midlothian blocked off half the street. The Doctor pointed this out to Bill, along with St Giles' Cathedral to prove that they were in Edinburgh. At the bottom end of the high street was Netherbow Port, where there was a small market. The street was lined with grey buildings, some a dozen storeys high, which had glass windows and ground-floor stables. (PROSE: Plague City)

Tracking the Mozhtratta, the Tenth Doctor took Heather McCrimmon to his TARDIS to the High Street in 1815. Heather used the trace of the Mozhtratta in her DNA to weaken the Mozhtratta of this era while the Doctor helped Heather's ancestor overcome the Mozhtratta. (COMICThe Chromosome Connection)
