In November 2019, when discussing the origins of Box as technology of the Gods of Gendar, Maxie Masters told P.R.O.B.E. director Giles about Epsilon. Maxie explained that, on Gendar, a planet whose inhabitants worshipped the Sun Builders as gods, Epsilon was considered one of the more important deities, alongside Urizen the Architect, Vala the Herborist, and a Trickster God of many names. • Although Out of the Box [+]Loading...{"page":"241","name":"OotB","1":"Out of the Box (short story)"} was the character's first mention in any published media, the copyright page of Out of the Shadows clarified that the character was not created by Aristide Twain, but that his copyright was instead held by Xavier Llewellyn. On the said copyright page, his moniker was given as "Epsilon the Eternal", rather than "Epsilon the Watcher" as in the actual text of Out of the Box.
