Farel

Farel was the security chief of the Lorelei. He dressed as Voc robot SV10 and killed, and tried to kill, several members of the crew, including the Seventh Doctor. After his wife Elicien died in a sandstorm when robots failed to save her life, he had developed robophobia. He therefore tried to crash the Lorelei into Ventalis and make it look as if the crash had been caused by Voc robots. Had this succeeded, the robots would no longer be used by his government.
