PC Ferguson was a policeman in 1951 and was seen in an old police box. Sarah Jane Smith saw the police box and mistook it for the TARDIS. PC Ferguson stepped out, not very happy with Sarah Jane. (TV: The Temptation of Sarah Jane Smith)

Ferguson was played by Andrew Bullivant, who had previously played the uncredited milkman in the Doctor Who episode, The Stolen Earth [+]Loading...["The Stolen Earth (TV story)"], who was later reintroduced in the novelisation of The Star Beast [+]Loading...["The Star Beast (TV story)"], where he was given the name Stew Ferguson, and implied to be PC Ferguson's grandson.
