Mr Fibuli was the Captain's assistant on Zanak.
Fibuli feared the Captain and his mercurial moods, and so complied with his orders to the best of his ability. When the Fourth Doctor prevented Zanak from materialising around Earth, the bridge's controls exploded and Fibuli was killed. Despite their abrasive relationship when he was alive, the Captain was upset by his death and vowed to avenge him, declaring that he was a good man. (TV: The Pirate Planet)
