Freya was Malcolm's sister, and lived with him and their mother in Lichyrwick. When she was young, Freya died of a heart condition shortly after Malcolm had let the Lichyrwick creature into their house. Malcolm mistakenly believed this was the creature's doing, and blamed himself for her death. (AUDIO: The Lichyrwick Abomination)
