A representative of the Frines family, along with representatives of the two other families in their alliance, Costerdane and Ablemarch, purchased the immortal Jack Harkness in Little Italy in 1928 and were able to take samples of his blood. He later escaped their custody, thanks to the man who had first kidnapped him, Angelo Colasanto. (TV: Immortal Sins)
