Georgie Price Jones was the partner of the man who was investigating the murders of several amateur detectives. She was not his regular partner, who at the time was on holiday. At Betteredge Hall, the site of Miss Jane's murder, they encountered Iris Wildthyme, who joined in the investigation. Georgie accompanied the man on his visits to Professor Proven, Mr Sherrinford, and the restaurant where Hercule Smith was killed. (PROSE: The Sleuth Slayers)
