Glen of St Catherine

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

The Glen of St Catherine, also known as "the Pit", was a valley in Scotland. A monastery was located there. In 1540, during the reign of King James V, a Lupine Wavelength Haemovariform crashed in the valley, which was recorded in a book as a star burning in the pit. The monks of the monastery, known as the Brethren, subsequently fell under the influence of the werewolf and began worshipping it instead of God. The Brethren and their monastery would be active until at least 1879, during the reign of Queen Victoria. (TV: Tooth and Claw) Torchwood House was located next to the glen. (PROSE: Visiting)
