The Grand Marshal was the leader of the Ice Warriors. He disagreed with his daughter Lady Zelanda's expansionist beliefs but showed her clemency when she attempted to have him assassinated, having her and her sympathisers exiled in suspended animation. (AUDIO: Wrath of the Ice Warriors)
