Helenus

Helenus was a character in William Shakespeare's play Troilus and Cressida.

In Act II Scene II, he, Priam, Hector, Troilus and Paris discussed a message from Nestor of the Greeks which promised a peaceful resolution to the Trojan War if they simply returned Helen. (PROSE: Troilus and Cressida ^[+]Loading...["Troilus and Cressida (short story)"])

Behind the scenes

Although unstated in Troilus and Cressida ^[+]Loading...["Troilus and Cressida (short story)"], Helenus was the son of Priam and a brother to Hector, Troilus and Paris.

Unlike other members of his family, Helenus was not seen nor mentioned in the Doctor Who television story The Myth Makers ^[+]Loading...["The Myth Makers (TV story)"] (and its novelisation) which was set towards the end of the Trojan War.
