Hyperios was the home planet of the Hyperions, who left their home planet to embark on a quest to enlighten the less advanced races of the universe. When the benevolent Hyperions evolved into supernovas they were driven mad, and began to conquer and destroy the universe. Hyperios was then destroyed in the Great Inferno by an Alliance of Races which included the Time Lords, Sontarans and Silurians. (COMICS: Terrorformer, The Hyperion Empire)
