President Romana used an image generator to disguise the passageway from the Maelstrom Cloisters to the Outer Labyrinth. Aware that it would not fool K9 Mark II, she tricked him into thinking that it was a weapon so that she, Leela, Lord Matthias, Commander Hallan and Captain Annos could escape Pandora's attack on the cloisters.
