Ixos-4 was a planet.
The Fifth Doctor and Adric visited it because the Doctor had heard some interesting stories about it. Whilst there, they helped rescue a pair of earwig-like aliens who had crash-landed there some years earlier. (PROSE: Planet of Fear)
