Jane Francis

Jane Francis was Professor Carl Readon's assistant. She helped him create Robbie, an advanced and highly emotional robot. She was also the owner of Scruff, and often took him to the Professor's laboratory with her.
When Readon told Jane to take Scruff home after the dog knocked over some instruments, the robot went beserk. It was eventually calmed down when it was reunited with Scruff. (COMIC: Doctor Who and the Robot)
