Jean (Village of the Angels)
Jean was a resident of Medderton, and the wife of Gerald. By 1967, they had lived together for at least 47 years, that she described as "47 years of pain".

She and Gerald had lived together since 1920, which she described as "47 years of pain", implying that the marriage was not a happy one.
Since Peggy lost her parents, she had been in her and Gerald's care.
On 21 November 1967, Peggy went missing and Jean along with Gerald and other residents of the village organised a search for her. She briefly described Peggy's appearance to Yasmin Khan and Dan Lewis.
Later, Jean and Gerald approached the boundary of the Medderton. Jean told Gerald that his harshness towards Peggy was the reason why she went missing. A Weeping Angel sent the couple back in time to 1901. After she reunited with Gerald, they found Peggy, accompanied by Yaz and Dan, and another Weeping Angel. Ignoring any advice or warnings, Gerald and Jean went past the Angel, allowing it to grab Gerald's coat. As the couple tried to liberate the coat, they turned to stone and disintegrated with screams.
