John "Forceps" Felixstoe was the surgeon on the Federation starship Nepotist. When Blandish crashed the ship into Valcea to prevent the Sahmbekarts from using it to invade the Federation, Felixstoe and most of the crew were killed. (PROSE: The Blue Angel)
