Kingdom of the Daleks (unproduced audio story)
Kingdom of the Daleks, by Alan Barnes, was an unproduced audio story which was originally scheduled for release in late October 2008. It was due to be the 114th release in Big Finish's Main Range, but was later replaced by Brotherhood of the Daleks.
It was set to involve Sara Kingdom's mother and father, bringing up two captive Daleks as replacements for the children they’d lost in the Daleks' Master Plan affair.’ However, Alan Barnes felt that the story was too similar to Evil of the Daleks, that it clashed with Big Finish's upcoming Sara Kingdom Companion Chronicles and admitted that "the whole thing (was) just a feeble excuse to bring back Celation, Trantis, Malpha and other members of the species in Mavic Chen's innner circle."BFX
Alan Barnes scrapped the story and instead wrote Brotherhood of the Daleks.
The alien delegates would later appear in the The Fourth Doctor Adventures audio stories The False Guardian, Time's Assassin, and The Perfect Prisoners.
