A lecture was a type of class, given by lecturers, present in some universities. After a stint at Sedgwick College at the University of Cambridge in 1937, (AUDIO: Entanglement) the First Doctor developed a fondness for delivering lectures. In an alternate timeline in which he spent three months on Urbinia, the Doctor delivered lectures on alchemical advances in the Outer Galaxies in Kiria City's university. He boasted to Steven Taylor that they were highly commended and claimed Katarina enjoyed attending them, like everyone else. The timeline was later reset by the Second Doctor and they never happened.
