Following the Third Doctor's regeneration, the Fourth Doctor muttered about "Sontarans perverting the course of human history". (TV: Robot ^[+]Loading...["Robot (TV story)"]) Much later, during the Orson Pink Incident, the Twelfth Doctor made the same exclamation after awakening within the TARDIS. (TV: Listen ^[+]Loading...["Listen (TV story)"]) He did so again whilst holding off his regeneration after he was mortally wounded in battle. (TV: The Doctor Falls ^[+]Loading...["The Doctor Falls (TV story)"]) Incidentally, the Sontaran Strax once awoke to exclaim "Son– Rutans! Perverting the course of Sontaran history!"
