Marjory Kennedy was a resident of Canvey Island.
Marjory's boyfriend was Walter Seacombe, but when Father Hemmings became priest of St Anthony's church, she had an affair with him. She became pregnant with Hemmings' baby, and she told Walter she didn't want him to be the father. Walter murdered her and the unborn baby. Hemmings, unable to forgive Marjory for the baby's death, refused to give her Last Rites. (PROSE: The Canvey Angels)
