Mark Eden
Mark Eden (14 February 1928-1 January 2021[1]) played Marco Polo in the Doctor Who television story Marco Polo. Nearly fifty years later, Eden played BBC One Controller Donald Baverstock in the 2013 docu-drama, An Adventure in Space and Time. He also notably reprised his role as Marco Polo for linking segments for the unofficial Loose Cannon reconstruction of Marco Polo.

He was best known for playing the villainous Alan Bradley on Coronation Street in the late 1980s. Eden left the show in 1989 when Bradley was famously killed by a Blackpool tram. He also appeared in The Prisoner episode It's Your Funeral, which featured his Marco Polo co-stars Derren Nesbitt and Martin Miller.
