The newly cloned Sontaran Strax was provided with Mark VII Battle Armour, complete with a Mark VII Tactical Helmet. According to the Sontaran Subliminal Education Matrix, the helmet, as well as protecting the Sontaran skull, enhanced their senses with an intuitive, ever-updating heads-up display which was connected to the systems of Sontaran Battlefleets.
