Odessa Smith was a parallel universe counterpart of the Odessa Smith native to Rose Tyler's universe.
In her universe, Mickey Smith was never born. Jackie Tyler found her when trying to discover how this universe was different. From Jackie she discovered about her counterpart back in Jackie's universe. She helped Jackie and Rose Tyler look after Roni Bandara after his suicide attempt.
