A Omsonii was captured in Africa, 1833 by Captain Finlay. She tried to communicate with the Captain, be he dismissed it as "a lot of noise".

He intended to bring it by boat to the Zoological Society in Greenwich, but the Eighth Doctor and Josie Day intervened, and managed to send the Omsonii back to its ship in orbit. (COMIC: The Time Ball)
