Oric

Oric was a planet where the Daleks intended to establish a miningcolony for its valuable metals. The sheer distance between Oric and Skaro required the Daleks to refuel their spacecrafts in transit, forcing them to erect Sky Seven Space Station as a way station to serve that role. The station's construction attracted the attention of the Mechanoids, causing them to launch an attack on the Daleks with their suspicion ray. (COMIC: Eve of War)
