The Path of Skulls was visited by the First Doctor, Ian, Susan and Barbara.
Ian found a Pathicol skull half buried on the path. After this, Barbara suggested they might have landed in a sacrificial site, but the Doctor corrected her, saying it was a place of rebirth and renewal, signified by the sunrise. (COMIC: The Path of Skulls)
