An entire Sontaran assassination squad was once wiped out by Amanda Steele and her pest control team. Their heads were removed and subsequently mounted as trophies.
She and her team were later hired by Georgia Donnelly, the owner of Funworld, after the planet-sized funfair's skeleton crew had suddenly ceased communication following a brief message about a "predator". This predator turned out to be the Vashta Nerada, which had wiped out the entire crew. She, her team and Georgia met the Fourth Doctor on Funworld. After Phelan was killed, Amanda attempted to kill the Vashta Nerada by drawing them out with meat; however, they ambushed her and Grosta, destroying him.
Georgia escaped using Amanda's ship, but unbeknownst to her or Amanda, the Vashta Nerada had entered the ship, where they proceeded to devour her. The Doctor rescued Amanda, and took her to her ship. Quickly, the Vashta Nerada latched themselves onto her, so she took poison, which she hoped would kill them as they killed her. She was ultimately successful.
