Q'ell (species)

The Q'ell were an insectoid race native to the planet Q'ell. They had limited psychic powers.
Whilst fighting with the Ceracai, they created the Recruiter to help. It took over, creating a false war on Q'ell and kidnapping children from other worlds to train as soldiers. This combat lasted fourteen hundred and five Q'ell years and left two billion, eight hundred and forty six million, fourteen thousand and thirty-two dead. The Seventh Doctor was able to reprogram the Recruiter to end the war, particularly since the Ceracai had become peaceful centuries before. (PROSE: Toy Soldiers)
