Richard Dunbar

Richard Dunbar was an employee of the World Ecology Bureau under Sir Colin Thackeray.

Dunbar briefed the Fourth Doctor on the discovery of a Krynoid pod in Antarctica, then illegally sold information about the pod to Harrison Chase. He later informed Chase that the Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith had survived the destruction of the Antarctic base, but eventually came to regret his part in the business.
Dunbar attempted to stop Chase on his own, but while being pursued by the guards, he was attacked and killed by the Krynoid that had been Arnold Keeler. (TV: The Seeds of Doom)
