Mr Riley was the curator of the Stone Whisperers. Sarah Jane Smith found him to be very boring. In the 2000s, he gave Mr Bradbury's history class a tour of the exhibit when they visited it after their field trip. Mr Riley was locked out of the exhibit during Luke's mental battle with Ravage.
