Roberta Tovey was a child actress who portrayed Susan in Dr. Who and the Daleks, a 2065 film which starred Peter Cushing as Dr. Who and was loosely based on the events of the Thal-Dalek battle. (PROSE: Peaceful Thals Ambushed!)
She also had a counterpart in Earth-33⅓. (COMIC: Doctor Who? 95, etc.)

Roberta Tovey was the daughter of an actor. She lived in Shepherd's Bush and her family ran a newspaper and tobacco shop. When she played the part of Susan in Dr. Who and the Daleks, she was 12 years old, although she appeared much younger still.
To preparer herself for the role, Tovey "read up on the Theory behind TARDIS" by reading through Physics for the Inquiring Mind by Eric M. Rogers. She claimed never to have been frightened by the Daleks on set during the shooting of the film, although Lady Penelope thought she was just putting on a brave face.
Roberta Tovey and the other stars of the film later met up with Penelope for an interview at an Italian restaurant in Soho. (PROSE: Lady Penelope Investigates the stars of the Sensational new film Dr. Who and the Daleks!)

Roberta Tovey had a counterpart in Earth-33⅓, (COMIC: Doctor Who? 95, etc.) where she apparently became an enemy of Dr. Who, (COMIC: Doctor Who? 95) as well as the Sixth Doctor, the latter of whom apparently defeated her. (COMIC: The Final Script)

As the in-universe Roberta Tovey was depicted in Peaceful Thals Ambushed! and Lady Penelope Investigates the stars of the Sensational new film Dr. Who and the Daleks! using stills of the real Roberta Tovey as Susan in Dr. Who and the Daleks, Tovey may be said to have portrayed her in-universe self.
A very different in-universe version of Roberta Tovey also appeared in various Doctor Who parody comics by Tim Quinn and Dicky Howett. Rather than an actor, this Roberta Tovey was a dangerous villain, cited by the Sixth Doctor in the same breath as the Daleks and Cybermen among the most fearsome foes he'd defeated.
