Root was a biotech and member of the Titan Base in the 50th century. She was sent by Shafira to investigate the arrival of the Seventh Doctor and Ace. She said that Ace was infected with Saturnian plague. Root was later infected by the Nucleus. (AUDIO: Revenge of the Swarm)
