Scoop was a CBBC comedy series which originally aired from 5 January 2009 – 10 August 2011. The series introduced the character of Hacker T Dog, a puppet character who went on to appear as a CBBC presenter.

As Hacker T Dog continued to appear as a CBBC presenter long after Scoop ended, he appeared in the Robot Week [+]Loading...["Robot Week (TV story)"] event, featuring the Doctor's TARDIS. Hacker was also mentioned by name in Doctor Who and the micro:bit [+]Loading...["Doctor Who and the micro:bit (TV story)"].
