Mr Standing was an individual who came looking for Gustave Lytton in 1975.
He met with Lytton outside the Jazz Soiree Club, alongside his boss, Mr Gray, and his fellow associates, Mr Stein and Mr Smart. When things became confrontational during the meeting, he pursued Lytton. After seeing Stein and Smart killed at the hands of Lytton, he tried to flee the alleyway but Lytton threw a sword at him, stabbing him in the back. (COMIC: Down These Mean Streets A Man Must Go)
