Superman was a comic book series starring the fictional superhero of the same name.
Beyond Superman and his alter-ego Clark Kent, who worked for the Daily Planet, other characters in the Superman comic books included Lois Lane, Maggie, Lex, Dr Kelley, Mrs Olsen, Jimmy Olsen, Perry White and Cat Grant.
