Sylvia Noble (Turn Left)
Sylvia Noble encouraged her daughter — Donna Noble — to turn right instead of left on 25 June 2007; this small change in affairs produced a parallel world.
Sylvia persuaded her daughter to take a permanent secretary job with Jival Chowdry. This choice meant she never met the Doctor.
She and her family were forced to relocate to Leeds following the destruction of London. As the world fell into disarray, Sylvia gave up on her daughter and fell into depression.

Wrong Turn[[edit] | [edit source]]
On 25 June 2007, Donna faced an important choice about her future: she could either go to her planned temp job at H.C. Clements, or - as persuaded by Sylvia — she could go and meet with Suzette who would introduce her to Jival Chowdry for a permanent role at his photocopy business. Persuaded by her mother, Donna decided to work for Chowdry instead of H.C. Clements by turning right on Little Sutton Street towards Griffin's Parade.
Giving up on her daughter[[edit] | [edit source]]
The following year, Sylvia's husband died and Donna was laid off by Chowdry. When Donna stated she couldn't believe how well her mother was taking her getting sacked, Sylvia replied with honesty: "I've given up on you".
The family left the city for Christmas 2008 after Donna won a stay at Firbourne House, courtesy of a winning raffle ticket, the family holidayed there over Christmas, 2008. Sylvia's father, Wilfred Mott, arrived at the hotel wearing reindeer antlers, and was chided by Sylvia for not looking "classy" enough. Staying outside the city, Sylvia and her family were spared when, on Christmas morning, a replica of the Titanic crashed into Buckingham Palace, obliterating London. Sylvia assumed that everyone she knew had died.
The lingering radiation left by the impact forced their evacuation to Leeds, where they had to share a house with other families. With few amenities, Sylvia fell into depression, each day remembering people she had lost. When Donna questioned if she had always been a disappointment, Sylvia sighed: "Yeah". (TV: Turn Left)
