Tam Walsh was a Scottish fisherman from Kinlochbervie whose trawler, the Sandpiper, was boarded by Skaar. Although he told his men not to discuss the experience with anybody, he ended up doing so whilst drunk and came to the attention of the Second Doctor, Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart and Sheena Flynn.
