Taurus was a constellation visible from Earth and a sign of the Zodiac. In 1746, in Inverness, the Second Doctor mentioned it while pretending to use astrologic criteria as a physician. (TV: The Highlanders)
In 2009, the "Children of Taurus" were the last intended to be brought under the control of the Ancient Lights. Among the Children of Taurus was Sarah Jane Smith. However, the Ancient Lights were thwarted before Martin Trueman could invoke the sign into his circle. Taurus followed Aries. (TV: Secrets of the Stars)
