Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
In an alternate version of the final scene of The Dalek Invasion of Earth, the Doctor promises Susan that he will come back one day. Or perhaps that he would send her a postcard, or a text message once they have been invented (depending on his mobile reception). The Doctor bids a final farewell to Susan as the TARDIS dematerialises. Outside, David announces to Susan that he is heading off to the pub, before asking her what time dinner will be ready. An irritated Susan sarcastically says, "Thanks a bunch, granddad!"
