Cast[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Ian Reddington as Stanislas Kroagnon
- Dan Brazier as Leopold Rotwang
- Kate McCabe as Gazelda Rotwang
- Brainne Edge as Interviewer
Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Rotwang is inspired by the Taj Mahal to build a family mausoleum.
- Kroagnon's design for the mausoleum is based on ziggurats on Earth.
Continuity[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Kroagnon tells the interviewer he is about to begin work on Paradise Towers. (TV: Paradise Towers)
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The cast noted Leopold Rotwang's similarity to Donald Trump, (DOC: The Rotwang Family Mausoleum Cast Chat) which Stephen Wyatt separately confirmed. (DOC: In Conversation: Stephen Wyatt)
- Kate McCabe further suggested the name Rotwang was a rude comment about Trump. However, Rotwang is also the name of a character from the classic film Metropolis, in which context it appears to come from the German for "red cheek".
