The Sixth Doctor and the Time War (game)
The Sixth Doctor and the Time War was a section of The Sixth Doctor Sourcebook which reinterpreted every televised story of the Sixth Doctor into being part of the Last Great Time War. It featured reinterpretations of each story accompanied by adventure seeds for how to tell stories with this interpretations.
A central premise of this game was the idea that the Time War began in TV: Genesis of the Daleks [+]Loading...["Genesis of the Daleks (TV story)"] and was occurring off-screen during the original television show.
Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
Midnight Sun[[edit] | [edit source]]
A Time Lord may have been the Jacondan "Sun God" who created the Gastropods to fortify the planet against the Daleks. This Time Lord may have been Azmael himself, staying behind to help ameliorate the fallout of his orders.
In "Midnight Sun", Jaconda comes under threat by the Daleks, and the Doctor travels into system's far future to recover an ancient biology-enhancement technology called the Forge. However, the Forge is in the hands of a perfect-seeming humanoid called Ja'Co, the legendary Sun God, who refuses to surrender it. The Daleks follow the Doctor and enter the Forge, turning into "perfect, serene beings of peace".
The First[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Cybermen's attack on Earth in 1986 may have been knowingly taking advantage of the Time War's temporal chaos. The time vessel was a Time Agency vessel used to observe the War.
In "The First", the Doctor discovers that the Time Agency vessel will find its way to Gallifrey's distant past and inspire the first TARDISes. He must protect it to ensure the existence of all TARDISes.
Time Rush[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Mentors may be related to the Jacondans, with either of the species being separated from the other by War-time tampering with evolution. Zeiton-7 makes Varos a key world in the War.
In "Time Rush", a new source of Zeiton-7 is discovered on Nostrum Alpha.
Deniable Operations[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Rani isn't a Renegade Time Lord but instead a deep cover Time Lord agent conducting experiments for the Time War. Her actions prepare Earth for the War.
In "Deniable Operations", the Rani reveals the truth of her deep cover status to the Doctor, and tries to rewrite her own timeline so that she never agreed to work for the High Council.
