The Sleech was a being from the Dark Times, who fed on people with light auras. It wanted to feed on Voirrey Irving and inhabited her father Jim Irving to do that. Gef protected her from this. The Eighth Doctor trapped it in a mirrored music both. It took the form of a snake.
