"The love that dare not speak its name" was how Francine "Minah Bird" Mole knew a Dalek that she had developed a deep emotional attachment to following a period of entrapment. After eight years of pining and petitioning the Kemble authorities, she was allowed to visit the Dalek that had won her heart during their shared ordeal, without the presence of guards.
