Tochtli, whose secret name was Acama, was born on a Nothing day in Tenochtitlan. He was born a month early, and the Doctor helped deliver him. At Tochtli's mother's request, the Doctor buried the umbilical cord on a battlefield.
As an adult, Tochtli used his abilities of psychometry to serve as a spy for the empire, although he posed as a merchant. He met the Seventh Doctor and helped him defeat the bonepuppets using the psychic ability he inherited from his mother. (PROSE: Nobody's Gift)
